Like it or not, LeBron James is the most talked about thing in the history of the NBA.  He’s a global icon and a hometown hero.  He’s the greatest basketball player in the league today but he has yet to win a championship and, ultimately, thrust himself into the same breath with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. However, Marc Stein of ESPN.com is now reporting the following: Tom Izzo insisted recently that he has no interest in coaching in the NBA until he wins at least one more NCAA title at Michigan State. Well folks, New York is at it again.  As if Mayor Bloomberg has nothing better to do – even though the nation’s economy is in shambles – his next big political move came today with the announcement of a new campaign: The C’mon LeBron campaign. Other than his postgame interview, LeBron James hasn’t spoken to the media since the Cavaliers’ game six loss to the Boston Celtics.  And, even then, he wasn’t very revealing in his plans for the offseason as he only claimed that he and “his team” have a game plan that they will execute – which is ironic, considering ‘execution’ is exactly what led to the Cavs’ demise this postseason.
