Other than his postgame interview, LeBron James hasn’t spoken to the media since the Cavaliers’ game six loss to the Boston Celtics. And, even then, he wasn’t very revealing in his plans for the offseason as he only claimed that he and “his team” have a game plan that they will execute – which is ironic, considering ‘execution’ is exactly what led to the Cavs’ demise this postseason.
However, he will be appearing on CNN’s “Larry King Live” on Friday night at 9 pm. In very brief segments already released, LeBron conceded that the Cavaliers “have an edge” when it comes to signing him when the free agency period begins on July 1. He followed that up, saying, “Because, you know, this city, these fans, I mean, have given me a lot in these seven years. And, you know, for me, it’s comfortable. So I’ve got a lot of memories here. And – and so it does have an edge.”
Tune in to CNN on Friday night at 9 pm to find out what LeBron has to say about his free agency. And let’s see if we can’t figure out where the King will reign before he makes his decision in July.
