Cavs Buzz By Hornets in New Orleans

I’m starting to believe that the Baby Bull really does tune in to the Gospel every once in a while.  It seems like every single time I disrespect JJ Hickson, he responds with a monstrous performance and he did it again on Wednesday night.  JJ was the recipient of a flurry of sick passes from the King and posted 20 points and nine boards in win number 57 against the New Orleans Hornets.

TheBron continued his spree of ridiculous performances and notched 38 points on 15-of-22 from the field while handing out nine assists and snagging six rebounds.  He came down rather awkwardly in the closing seconds of the first half as he stepped on James Posey and rolled his left ankle.  LeKing seemed a bit perturbed by Posey’s getting in his way and made the Hornets pay in the second half.

Antawn Jamison scored seven of his 11 points in the second half and doubled-up in an 11 point-11 rebound effort and Mo Williams posted eight points and seven assists in the win.

Delonte West and Anderson Varejao led the ferocious attack off the bench and combined for 19 points and seven rebounds on a night when neither guy was at his best.

And Zydrunas Ilgauskas made his return to the floor going for one point and three rebounds in more than 17 minutes of work.  It was definitely good to see him back in Wine & Gold though.

Cleveland will take Thursday off and return to action on Friday night as they’ll take on Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs.
