Cavs Sneak Past the Pistons

LeBron James didn’t do a whole lot wrong on Tuesday night but he had Mike Brown all fired up forcing the coach to take one of his timeouts.  James disagreed with a non-foul call on one end, didn’t hustle back on defense and then took an earful from Coach Brown.  That may have been what TheBron needed to get fired up because the young superstar went off for his fourth triple-double of the season as he went for 29 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

Mo Williams caught fire down the stretch and knocked down five of his nine three point attempts on his way to a 20 point-5 assist effort while Antawn Jamison double-up with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The bench took yet another hit prior to game time as Delonte West was shelved with a knee injury but Anderson Varejao was, well, he was Anderson Varejao.  The Wild Thing was an efficient 4-of-5 from the floor for 9 points to go along with six boards, three assists and four steals.  And Jawad Williams chipped in with a solid 10 point effort.

Cleveland trailed for a lot of the game but erupted for 38 points in the fourth quarter to nip the Pistons 113-101.  They’ll head on back to the Q to take on the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
