Ladies and gentlemen, one of the bloggers in our FanSided family sent out an email on Sunday night that read:
“One of my High school friends went missing the other day and we need help spreading the word about her. She disappeared while on a run in San Diego. Im begging you to do anything in your power to help out!“
Here is the link to a website devoted to her search. If you know anything about Chelsea King that could lead to her finding, please visit the site and contact authorities.

Thumbs Down
After suffering a thumb injury in Thursday night’s matchup with the Boston Celtics, the Big Witness Protection traveled to Maryland on Sunday afternoon to meet with Dr. Thomas Graham at the National Hand Center in Baltimore.
O’Neal is now schedules to undergo surgery to repair the injured thumb on Monday. His status will be updated following the surgery and a time table for his return will be set at that point.
However, according to Brian Windhorst via his Twitter account, the typical recovery time for the injury is anywhere from six to eight weeks. Therefore, O’Neal’s regular season could very well be [...]
I’ve been meaning to write this piece for about a week now but I’m just now getting to it.
Prior to their game against Boston last Thursday, Lakers Head Coach Phil Jackson made a few comments about the Cavaliers’ recent trade and expressed his disapproval for such a “scam.” He was at it again on Friday evening in an interview with FanHouse’s Chris Tommasson. In the interview Jackson said:
“It’s a sham of sorts to make that kind of trade. You’re not really trading a player. You’re just trading a money situation. It’s a sham, and I think it’s a disrespect for [...]
Cavs Run Over C’s
The Cavaliers took the floor on Thursday night and looked plain sloppy on both ends of the floor in the first 24 minutes. Boston (Rajon Rondo) was getting wherever they wanted to go and, as a result, the Cavaliers saw the Celtics surge out to a 13 point lead early in the second quarter. The Wine and Gold cut into the lead a tad before the half was over and headed into the locker room trailing 56-48.
Mike Brown was visibly upset with his team’s defense. And rightfully so.
The Cavaliers came storming out of the locker room in the second half [...]
A Real Reason to Celebrate
Brian Windhorst said in an article the other day that LeBron James hasn’t been in a very good mood since Cleveland traded away one of his closes friends, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, to the Wizards a week ago.
And Cleveland is hitting the road again on Thursday night to take on the Boston Celtics on TNT. In the grand scheme of things, Thursday night’s game is just one of 82 regular season games for the Cavs. It will certainly be an exciting contest and it’ll do its part in getting everyone pumped up. And rightfully so.
But news just broke that Cavaliers fans can [...]
Last nights Cleveland win over the Charlotte New Orleans Hornets was refreshing but it wasn’t pretty. The Cavs continued to be out of synch as they
struggle to adjust to the return of Mo Williams to the starting lineup and the integration of Antawn Jamison.
Jamison seems to be settling in pretty well. He made his first start for the Cavs last night, going 7 of 14 for a healthy 18 points, adding 6 rebounds and 2 steals. You can already see the chemistry starting to build. This was especially evident when a fast breaking Lebron dished a beautiful no look pass [...]
Cavs Sting Hornets in the Q
All I could think about during the first half of tonight’s game was, “Oh no. Here we go again.” The Cavs were getting beat to lose ball after lose ball and the Hornets just seemed to have their engines in a different gear. Behind rookie reserve Marcus Thornton, New Orleans tossed in 40 points in the second half and was absolutely tearing Cleveland apart with fast break points.
The perimeter defense was poor (again) and it just seemed like Darren Collison and Thornton were going wherever they wanted, when they wanted in the first 24 minutes.
Coach Brown was visibly steamed at [...]
Tuesday Night Tango at the Q
After a franchise record 13 game winning streak, the Cavs have stumbled coming out of the All-Star break going 0-3 and giving up more than 100 points in each of those contests. Free throw shooting has been poor and the defense has been even worse. Mike Brown has expressed his frustrations with the team defense and I would expect the defensive minded coach to fix that in a hurry. And by “in a hurry” I mean TONIGHT.
The Cavs will carry their three game skid back into the Q on Tuesday night to take on the ailing Hornets.
And here’s how the teams [...]
JJ Hickson is reportedly suffering from flu like symptoms, thus Mike Brown has decided to pull the trigger and start recent trade acquisition Antawn Jamison, according to a recent report by ESPN.com.
The same article goes on to mention that forward Leon Powe has been medically cleared to play.
The Cavs have been suffering from what appears to be some chemistry issues since the Jamison trade, dropping 3 straight. The recent skid is reminiscent of the early part of this season, as it seemed to take the Cavs a few games to get into a groove with the additions of Shaq, Moon [...]
“The characteristic of genuine heroism is its persistency. All men have wandering impulses, fits and starts of generosity. But when you have resolved to be great, abide by yourself, and do not weakly try to reconcile yourself with the world. The heroic cannot be the common, nor the common the heroic.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
I think it would be grossly inaccurate to claim that the amount of responsibility placed on the shoulders of Lebron James, not just by the city of Cleveland but also by the entire basketball world, is unfair. Lebron has been given incredible physical gifts that have made him [...]
