The Cavaliers had rattled off seven straight victories and eleven consecutive at the Quicken Loans Arena before the Charlotte Bobcats came to town on Sunday evening.  They had outrebounded their opponents while their bench outscored opposing benches in nine consecutive contests.  All off those streaks came to a screeching halt in Sunday’s sluggish performance.

LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists while playing in all 24 minutes of the second half.  Mo Williams was 10 of 17 from the field in a 27 point-6 assists performance for the Wine and Gold.

But the dynamic duo didn’t get much help from their teammates.  The bench recorded only 12 points, 9 of those coming from Delonte West, and the other three starters accounted for a mere 20 points in the loss.

They were outrebounded by an undersized Bobcats team by a margin of 29 to 25 and were outscored 40-38 in the paint.

Cleveland will return to action against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at the Q.
