On March 12 of last year, the Cleveland Cavaliers came into the US Amway Arena and took out the Phoenix Suns 119-111.  LeBron James put up 34 points in his third straight triple double and Mo Williams added 30 on the night.

After rattling off a league-best 18 wins at home the Suns hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers again on Monday night and, this time, the Cavs set the Suns 109-91.

LeBron James poured in a game-high 29 points to go with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and a pair of steals while Mo Williams tallied 24 points, 16 of those coming in the second half.  Williams added 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 thefts on the night.  Shaquille O’ Neal was ineffective through 19 minutes and JJ Hickson combined with Anthony Parker for17 points and 11 boards.

Cleveland’s bench gave another impressive effort on Monday night, totaling 36 points and 8 assists in the win.  Anderson Varejao and Delonte West led the way with 13 and 12 points respectively.  West also handed out 6 assists and had 3 steals in the performance.  Zydrunas Ilgauskas tossed in 7 points and Daniel Gibson added 4 on 2 of the 3 from the field.

The Cavaliers held the lead for much of the game but led by just 7 going into the final 12 minutes of play.  LeBron and Co. turned up the heat on the defensive end and managed to outscore the Suns 27-16 in the fourth quarter to take a commanding 109-91 victory over a very good team.

They’ll head to Sacramento for Wednesday night’s matchup with the Sacramento Kings, who are 10-3 on their home floor this season.
