Ask any member of any championship team and they’ll tell you defense wins championships.

The Cavaliers only put up 85 points on Friday night but played stellar defense and limited the Milwaukee Bucks to 82 on their way to their twentieth win of the season.

LeBron James led the offensive attack with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists while Mo Williams added many of his 17 points in the second half.  Delonte West, who made his best performance of the year in the first meeting with the Bucks, added a solid 12 points and 4 rebounds to the stat sheet.  Cleveland got 9 points and 6 boards from the Diesel while Anderson Varejao and Zydrunas Ilgauskas combined to produce 12 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

Cleveland hounded the Bucks on the defensive side throughout the game and limited Brandon Jennings to 18 points on just 5 of 21 from the floor.  Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd shot a combined 4 of 16 from the field for 11 points on the night.

The Wine and Gold will head west for a four game road trip against Dallas, Phoenix, Sacramento and LA.  They’ll take their five game win streak into the tip off against Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks on Sunday night at 7:30 pm.
