LeBron, Cavs Have Thanksgiving Feast

Posted by: Cody Norman
LeBron James

The King feasted at the Palace on Wednesday night.

The Wine and Gold provided the Pistons with an early exit after a clean sweep in the first round of last year’s playoffs.  King James and his troops returned to the Palace for the first time since that series and had a pre-Thanksgiving feast compliments of their conference foes.

Cleveland was on fire for much of the first half and led by 18 at intermission.  Boobie Gibson continued his sweet shooting ways to lead the Cavs’ three-point assault off the bench, canning three tres in a 13 point performance.   Mo Williams tallied 10 points and 7 assists through 24 minutes of play to help his team take an early advantage.

After a three day vacation (and yet another crown for the King), the LeBron show continued into Wednesday night’s matchup.  LeBron was 12 of 24 from the field in a 34 point performance and added 7 assists and 8 rebounds to the 98-88 feast of the Pistons.  Anthony Parker was 4 of 5 from the floor, providing 13 points to the attack while his back-court counterpart, Mo Williams, chipped in with 14 points and 8 dimes.  Jamario Moon continued his strong play, contributing 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting in the contest.

Shaquille O’Neal missed his sixth straight game tonight with a shoulder strain and Delonte West failed to see the floor tonight for the fifth time this season.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Friday night in Charlotte to take on Stephen Jackson and the Bobcats.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at KJG!
