For the first time this season and the twenty-first time in his career, LeBron James was named as this week’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
In four games this week, the King averaged an NBA-best 34.3 points per game on 58% shooting. LeBron also tallied 5.8 rebounds per game to go along with 9.3 assists during a week in which he led the Cavs to a 3-1 record. He was the only player in the Eastern Conference to record 30 points in the Cavs’ first four games in five nights stretch of the season.
TheBron recorded a double-double in the Cavaliers’ November 17th win over the Golden State Warriors with 31 points and 12 assists. In a loss to Washington Wizards the following day, the King put up 34 points. Two days later in Indiana, LeBron finished with a season-high 40 points (including 22 points on 8-11 from the field in the first half) and followed that performance with a 32 point, 7 rebound, and 9 assist contest back home against the 76ers.
Kobe Bryant was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.
