Hickson, LeBron Drop Warriors

- Walter Hill’s 1979 film, The Warriors
LeBron James and Co. were heard in the locker room prior to Tuesday night’s contest at the Q whispering, “Warriors, come out and play-ayy.”
Okay, I admit, that may not be 100% factual (then again, it might be); that was just a tribute to my Pops.
Anyways, let’s get to it!
JJ Hickson continued his outstanding performance recording yet another night in which he produced a career-high in points. The second year forward was a perfect 9 of 9 from the field to contribute 21 points while pulling down 9 rebounds in the Cavs’ fifth straight victory.

The Wine & Gold Warriors
The King recorded 31 points on 11 of 19 from the field and found his teammates on 12 assists for the night. Mo Williams was 7 of 14 (2 of 4 from three) on his way to a 16 point, 8 rebound, and 6 assist night in the 114-108 win. Two other Cavs contributed double-digit scoring performances on the night as well. In his second straight start for the injured Shaquille O’Neal, Zydrunas Ilgauskas put up 14 points in over 27 minutes of work while Daniel Gibson returned to his sweet-shooting form, going 3 of 4 from downtown in a 13 point performance.
The Cavaliers will take their five game win streak into the Nation’s Capital tomorrow night against Agent 00 and the Washington Wizards. Tip off will be at 7 pm ET.
