It appears that the Cavaliers aren’t done shopping yet. For the past month the Cavaliers have been browsing every aisle of the Free Agent Market. This time it seems that Forward, Leon Powe, has caught their eye. Powe will come at a good price ($2 Million biannual exception) but Powe is damaged goods as he is coming off his 4th surgery on his left knee and his third ACL tear in that knee.
Powe would be a great steal, if he were healty. He’s a good defender and loves to play in the paint. Something that the Cavs are still lacking at the Power Forward position. Not only would it be a great addition to the Cavs but it would be weakening Boston’s Bench at the same time.
It was reported that the Cavaliers also made an offer to forward, Hakim Warrick, but Warrick decided to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks earlier today.
