The Big Diesel vs. Big Ben?
Shaq has tried his hand at being a rapper, an actor, and a police officer. So, what’s next for the BIG man? Football, Baseball, Swimming and Beach Volleyball are just to name a few.
In a new ABC reality television series, “Shaq Vs.”, O’Neal will be taking on star athletes of almost every major sport. His first competitor will be Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger in a game of football.
The Cavaliers have already cleared O’Neal to participate in his new reality TV show in which he plans to challenge competitive swimming juggernaut, Michael Phelps, boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, MLB slugger Albert Pujols and beach volleyball olympians Misty May- Treanor and Kerri Walsh.
Episodes will consist of preliminary challenges, news conferences, and quality time with under privileged kids. O’Neal and his competitors will agree upon a handicap for the main event in which they will square off in the competitors sport.
“Shaq Vs.” is set to premiere on Aug. 18th at 9pm ET on ABC.
I’m looking forward to seeing how versatile and athletic the Big Diesel is. I just hope that O’Neal doesn’t plan to dress accordingly to each sport. The thought of seeing the Big Man in a bikini top and booty shorts is quite disturbing, not to mention the possibility of seeing O’Neal in a speedo.
Do you think it’s a good idea to allow Shaq to participate in the show? And will you watch the series premiere on ABC?
I will watch the episode that Big Ben is participating in and that will be all. How long is the show? It is a hard task to be able to handle Shaq for a half hour. I really hope it is not a hour. I also hope that Shaq isn’t set up to win every time.
