Since Brendan Haywood has been blogging over at YardBarker he has been writing somewhat controversial pieces. People are down on LeBron right now because he chose not to talk to the media after game six and shake hands with the Magic. That really doesn’t bother me one bit, but the media would rather make a soap opera out of it than focus on the finals. Apparently LeBron James finished the season with a benign growth in is mouth. He had the surgery yesterday and everything went to just fine. He opted to wait for surgery till the end of the season, which obviously shows that it wasn’t that threatening. The Cleveland Cavaliers star underwent successful surgery on Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic to remove a benign growth in his mouth, the team said. Specifically, Dr. Frank Papay performed a five-hour procedure on James’ parotid gland, which produces saliva. Ben Wallace is still the league’s best defender. What? That’s right, I said it. Because right now the only person who can stop LeBron James is Big Ben.
