Tiger Woods On LeBron Shake Controversy
To shake or not to shake? Tiger Woods recently answered a question about what he thought about LeBron James actions after the Eastern Conference Finals. I am glad that now we have a golfers opinion on this situation. I was seriously worried that we had heard nothing from the world of golf on this controversy. “Well, if you look at it, not everyone shakes hands after every game,” he said. “Football, a lot of guys just walk off the field. A lot of sports, they walk off the court or field. Hockey, they line up. It’s tradition. And it’s part [...]
Around the NBA Mock Drafts
The Hoop Doctors: 30. Cleveland Cavaliers Darren Collison PG 14.4ppg, 4.7apg, 1.6spg We all have seen how positive Mo Williams has been for the Cavs so they are pretty solid at the point. But clearly Delonte West is a better fit as a scorer at the 2. So where does that leave the Cleveland depth at the point? Collison is a great passer, loves to score, and could be just the guy to back up Mo Williams, even as a rookie. He’s a little suspect defensively as he’s sort of thin, but that can be addressed at the next level. [...]

Should the Cavs Resign Anderson Varejao?
The Cavs will have to decide whether they want to dish out some money to PF Anderson Varejao this off season. He is expected to opt out of his final year and go after a more lucrative contract. He is rumored to be looking for a deal around 4 years 32 million. That is a bunch of money for a player that is not a true starter in the NBA, shoots horrible from the free throw line, and has peeked to his potential. Don’t get me wrong I love his hustle and work ethic, but I think the Cavs will [...]
NBA Fines LeBron James
David Stern and the NBA at no surprise fine LeBron James from skipping out on the media after game six. He will be fined $25,000 for his decision. I have no problem with LeBron skipping out on the media. If my season just ended I wouldn’t want to have to immediately talk about the loss. I do wish LeBron would’ve shook the Magic players hands, but if he called them to congratulate them again its not big deal to me. LeBron did tell David Stern that he apologized to the fans and others. “He asked that I express to the [...]
Haywood Apologizes, Calls Out LeBron
Since Brendan Haywood has been blogging over at YardBarker he has been writing somewhat controversial pieces. We don’t usually get to read or hear more than the cookie cutter answers from most athletes. So sometimes its nice to hear what an athlete might say. This time Haywood calls out LeBron for not shaking hands with the Magic, but also notes that he is guilty of doing the same thing. I think the thing that bothers me most is that he didn’t seem apologetic about not feeling the need to shake hands and do the interviews. When you’re the face of [...]
LeBron Still Missing Something?
People are down on LeBron right now because he chose not to talk to the media after game six and shake hands with the Magic. That really doesn’t bother me one bit, but the media would rather make a soap opera out of it than focus on the finals. Well us Cavs fans might need/want to turn our attention to other things, so I figured I would show you this new video from Global Sports Fraternity.
LeBron Gets Benign Growth Removed
Apparently LeBron James finished the season with a benign growth in is mouth. He had the surgery yesterday and everything went to just fine. He opted to wait for surgery till the end of the season, which obviously shows that it wasn’t that threatening. The Cleveland Cavaliers star underwent successful surgery on Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic to remove a benign growth in his mouth, the team said. Specifically, Dr. Frank Papay performed a five-hour procedure on James’ parotid gland, which produces saliva. Surgery for such conditions often takes time because of the numerous nerves and blood vessels in that area [...]
Ben Wallace: Retire Before Things Get Embarrassing
Ben Wallace is still the league’s best defender. What? That’s right, I said it. Because right now the only person who can stop LeBron James is Big Ben. He’s a $14 million noose around the King’s neck right now, because the Cavs need to surround LBJ with more talent. The good news? He is pondering retirement. But isn’t Wallace’s contract expiring? Yes, his contract is expiring. But in this economy $14 mil is a lot to play a washed-up player who’s an offensive liability, especially one who gimps all over the court. Big Ben, the clock tower has struck midnight [...]
