Shaq is coming to Cleveland! This might be the best news since drafting LeBron James 1st overall. ESPN and Yahoo are both reporting that this deal is basically done. The Cavs will send Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick overall, and cash considerations to the Suns for Shaq. This is a huge day for the Cavs and should help LeBron land his first NBA title. Supposedly the only thing that is holding this up is both Owners approval. The Suns are looking to unload some payroll and it looks like they are getting closer to trading Shaq to Cleveland for Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, and cash considerations. Yahoo! Sports is reporting that talks have gained “momentum” and quote another source as saying the deal will get done. The Shaq-to-Cleveland trade talks have gained momentum and Cavaliers officials are nearing the conclusion they should make the move for O’Neal, sources said. Tarence Kinsey was arrested this morning in Tampa, Florida for driving under the influence. Supposedly he was having a hard time staying in his lane and was speeding. Kinsey was first spotted heading north on Howard Avenue in a 2005 Bentley heading to Interstate 275. He was drifting in his lane and accelerated to 70 mph in a 55-mph zone on the interstate, police say. An officer stopped him near the interstate and Dale Mabry Highway. The Arizona Republic is reporting that the Shaq to Cleveland talks might be stirring up again. The parts of the possible deal remain the same. Phoenix would send O’Neal to Cleveland for veteran power forward Ben Wallace, who is considering retirement, and reserve guard Sasha Pavlovic, whose final contract year is not fully guaranteed.
