Shaq Responds to Trade by Lip Singing
King James Bible, errr Gospel on Around the Horn
Yesterday, Tony Reali and the folks at Around the Horn mentioned King James Gospel for this Cleveland-inspired Shaq nicknames post. Even though they botched the name, it was very cool to see our relatively new blog get some ESPN on-air love. Big thanks to the ATH crew! Check it out…
Shaq to Wear #33 for Cavs
Cleveland Cavs Draft Christian Eyenga with the 30th Pick
The Cavs reached and to be honest drafted someone I know very little about. Christian Eyenga from the Congo is still very underdeveloped and will likely stay oversees. This could be a possible trading piece for the Cavs if they desire to move him. I still think this is a reach for a team that needs shooting now not later. He could be a great project, but this team doesn’t need projects right now. Here is Eyengra’s breakdown from ESPN: Positives: NBA body Excellent athlete Explosive leaper Quick and physical defender Emerging perimeter game Negatives: Lacks a high basketball IQ [...]
Shaq Interview from the Draft (Audio)
Listening to this interview really excites me as a Cavs fan. If Shaq means everything he says and can commit to it this season then there is no reason the city of Cleveland will finally be blessed with a championship. I loved hearing Shaq saying they have to win, he would come off the bench, and he has been talking “mentally” with LeBron.
Running on Diesel
This is the new Cavs intro to their website and it is also already on Shaq’s twitter. I have to say he looks pretty good in that Cavs jersey.
Press Conference: Danny Ferry on Shaq

The points that I liked hearing: They had three options they were looking at in the last three days. So it means they took what they felt was the best of the three. Ferry said that he doesn’t want to be patient and he wants to win now. Love hearing that, but who doesn’t? [...]

Shaq Discovers His Trade Via Twitter
Shaq might be the first player to ever find out he’s been traded on Twitter, especially for a trade of this magnitude. Check this out… DJJTR3Y tweeted this at Shaq: And Shaq responded with this:
