Brad Daugherty Has Gone Insane

AUTHOR: | IN: FanZone, LeBron James, News | COMMENTS: None Yet

All of us Cavs fans have a special place in our hearts for Brad Daugherty, but his latest statements make him sound crazy. He believes that his Cavaliers would beat the current Cavaliers roster. He honestly thinks they could have caused LeBron major problems on defense. He even went as far to say that Larry Nance could guard LeBron. “If we played them, and he started making 18-foot shots consistently, he’d be a problem. But I think we could have altered some of his shots, and we could have thrown a couple of really top-notch defenders at him. Larry Nance [...]

LeBron’s Dream Team

AUTHOR: | IN: FanZone, LeBron James | COMMENTS: 18 Comments

LeBron told Dan Patrick yesterday on his radio show who would be on his Dream Team. Here it is: PG: Magic Johnson SG: Michael Jordan SF: LeBron James PF: Kevin Garnett C: Shaquille O’Neal (LeBron almost went Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) Coach: James Naismith (we can’t lose with the guy who invented the game) I really can’t disagree with this list. Some might wonder why Kobe Bryant was left off this list, but how could you pick him over MJ or Magic? I wouldn’t. Sorry Kobe but you have to come off the bench. I might have to pick Kareem or Wilt [...]

Big Z Watches TV, Reads Books, and Doesn’t Watch Basketball

AUTHOR: | IN: FanZone, LeBron James, News | COMMENTS: None Yet

If you were curious what a Zydrunas Ilgauskas does with his downtime you might be surprised that he doesn’t want to watch basketball. Big Z prefers reading a book, watching the travel channel, or just relaxing enjoying the time off. “I watch the Travel Channel or the Discovery Channel,” the Cleveland center said. “I don’t watch much basketball. When I’m at home, I like to kick back and read a book or do something else. The last thing I want to do is watch games.” This really didn’t shock me because Big Z seems like he does enjoy more things [...]

LeBron Unanimous Choice for All-NBA First Team

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James, News | COMMENTS: None Yet

LeBron James was chosen to be on the All-NBA first team. Joining him are Dwayne Wade, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Dwight Howard. I am not sure that a MVP has ever been left off All NBA first team, so this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. Mike Brown had this to say about LeBron receiving this honor: “It doesn’t surprise me at all,” Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said of James, who in addition to winning MVP finished second in voting for best defensive player. “It comes with being the MVP. He’s proven he can do it all.” Here [...]

Nike LeBron-Kobe Puppet Commercial “Chalk” (Video)

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James, NBA, Video | COMMENTS: None Yet

Why is LeBron James so much happier in this commercial than Kobe Bryant? Because Kobe’s been there, done that? No. Because LeBron’s team is actually winning, unlike the team of a certain No. 24. (hat tip: First Cuts)
