The 76ers got a break tonight that many teams this season haven’t had on the Cavs home court, no LeBron James. LeBron and other starters rested on the bench for tonights final home and regular season game. The Cavs reserves did take the game into overtime only losing by one point to the 76ers, 111-110. Daniel Gibson added 28 points in the loss, but the real story is that the Cavs feel one game short of the 1985-86 Celtics for home record (40-1). Being a former graduate of Kansas State, watching Bill Walker get blocked by a man that might have a 20-inch vertical even embarrassed me. I love the block, but I love the bench reaction even more. This team loves playing hard for one another and they will need that to bring home a title.

Ray Allen will be suspended one game for the b****** cheap shot ever. I am glad that the league realized that trying to elbow another man where it counts is not something they want represented. The Cavs clinched homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs tonight beating the Pacers, 117-109.   That pushes the Cavs home record to 39-1 and one game closer to tie the record for wins in a season. Is this guy always hurt? I have always wanted Ben to succeed, but he has to stay on the court. We obviously traded for this guy at the wrong point in his career, but the good news is the Cavaliers don’t really need him to win the title. Sure it would be nice for him to beat up on KG, Dwight Howard (if thats possible) and others. But that might not happen. Wallace injured his knee and today the MRI discovered a strain. I am sure by now you have seen Ray Allen’s cheapshot on Anderson Varejao. What bothers me is that Varejao got a technical foul called on him after Allen tried to make sure he left without his manhood. There are two problems I have with this incident besides the technical foul on Varejao: 1. What man tries to elbow another man’s sack? I thought that was a woman thing that they did when they were mad at their boyfriends. 2. Anderson Varejao didn’t even flinch after getting an elbow that clearly made contact.
