Is this guy always hurt? I have always wanted Ben to succeed, but he has to stay on the court. We obviously traded for this guy at the wrong point in his career, but the good news is the Cavaliers don’t really need him to win the title. Sure it would be nice for him to beat up on KG, Dwight Howard (if thats possible) and others. But that might not happen. Wallace injured his knee and today the MRI discovered a strain.
An MRI today at the Cleveland Clinic revealed that Cavaliers forward Ben Wallace has a patella tendon strain in his left knee. He will not play tonight in Indiana against the Pacers and is currently considered doubtful for Wednesday’s season finale against the 76ers at home.
The team gave no timetable on how long he may be out.
I assume that Wallace will miss the rest of the regular season and might even miss the first round of the playoffs. Again I thought at times the Cavs really didn’t miss him that much, but they could still use him coming off the bench.
